Background

The Surveyors Ombudsman Service is an Ombudman Service run by TOSL.  TOSL is a private, not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee. You can view the TOSL website at www.tosl.org.uk.

The Service was set up for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors ( RICS ) to handle complaints about its members.

Our service is independent.

The Company is funded by its industry members. Its governance structure has been carefully designed to protect the independence of the Ombudsman.
